“If Buzzcocks had met Edwyn Collin’s in a Liverpool basement owned by Parquet Courts  this is the record they would have made.”

Sold, the debut single from Liverpool’s Sugarmen, will further enhance the city’s legendary musical heritage. The band have spent the last 18 months honing their sound and playing to sell out crowds supporting Blur , The Who, Paul Weller, Sleaford Mods, Hooton Tennis Club and many others.

Signed to the legendary Sire Records by the equally legendary Seymour Stein (Madonna, Talking Heads, Ramones). The album was recorded at Liverpool’s famous , Parr Street Studos and licensed to the brilliant Modern Sky Records run from the band’s hometown.

The perfect introduction to their album later this year.

The band are headlining a This Feeling tour in April to support the release.
