“Brainstorm” features a chantable chorus overflowing with raw emotion, as Livingston sings, “How am I supposed to love when I’m stuck inside of my brainstorm?” Once again, he unpacks his truth without fear or filter. Livingston explains, “‘Brainstorm’ was born from chronic overthinking. It’s a double edged sword, because it allows me to feel things so deeply and read between the lines of reality a little bit more—but I also get stuck in some corners of fear that make me question my ability to love and be present the way I want to be. I hope this song reaches anyone that has that hyper-aware thing… I certainly do, and it’s a blessing and a curse—and in some ways really powerful.”

The deluxe album is the continuation of the 22-year-old singer, songwriter, and producer’s breakout 2024 debut project, A Hometown Odyssey, and lands exactly one year after the original album’s release. It features nine new songs, including his recent fan favorite singles “Glow,” “Look Mom I Can Fly,” and “Gravedigger.” Livingston shares, “This album means so much to me. I’m not the kid I was when I found music back in Texas, and I had to search inside myself to find the same awe and wonder that drove me to music again. I found it. Impressively amassing over 1 million streams per day, Livingston is gearing up for a massive breakthrough year on both the music and touring front. This week, the alt-pop maverick returned to Europe and the U.K. on the international leg of his sold-out “A Hometown Odyssey Tour,” which runs through February. Up next, he will hit the road in North America this May and June on his recently announced “The Story Continues Tour.” Kicking off on May 6th in Phoenix at The Van Buren, the headline tour will see Livingston perform in his biggest U.S. venues to date through June, including shows at New York’s Webster Hall on May 20th and Los Angeles’ The Fonda Theatre on June 12th. In March 2024, Livingston unveiled his debut album A Hometown Odyssey. Brought to life by the Denton, TX native—who wrote and produced the album in his childhood bedroom—it made major waves independently and has amassed more than 600 million impressions and over 100 million Spotify streams to date.
