Taken from their highly acclaimed debut album ‘Away From The Water’ (Nov, 2014) which featured on a number of ‘Best Albums of 2014’ lists, Lola Colt release their follow-up single ‘Heartbreaker’ on March 2nd 2015 through Black Tigress Records, produced by Bad Seed/Grinderman member Jim Sclavunos.
Hailed as one of London’s most exciting and captivating live bands by fans and critics alike, the six-piece have been taking audiences by storm. Their shows have been described as “a spellbinding and dramatic experience with both sonic and visual intensity” and they make certain every show feels like a special event.
“Our first UK tour was wild ~ like our very own real-life road movie” explain songwriting partners Matt and Gun. “We always a approach our shows like they’re a journey, and when those journeys are linked across the paths of so many like-minded people, they become an adventure. Following the success of their recent first headline UK tour and appearances at festivals including Amsterdam’s London Calling,Lola Colt will take their mesmerising live show back on the road in 2015 throughout the UK and Europe, with more dates set to follow. “Expect to see the uncaged, fire-breathing, technicoloured beast that is ‘Away From The Water‘ in it’s natural habitat.”
