Welcome to your Sunday Digest, Martyna

Our 20th anniversary celebrations are less than 90 days away, and the anticipation is becoming more palpable by the day. The butterflies that linger in your stomach as you see the first sign for Henham Park; the feeling of excitement as you finish setting up your campsite home; that first walk into the arena in the evening sun and the sense of joy that immediately washes over – it’s all getting closer.

As July approaches, we’re looking at some of the ways in which we can all work together to keep Latitude green, as well as inviting you to elevate your festival experience.

Celebrating our glorious planet 🌍

This week we celebrated Earth Day! Recognised worldwide, Earth Day serves as a poignant reminder of our collective responsibility to safeguard the environment and champion a greener, more equitable future for us all.

From our on-site recycling plant to the way Latitude is powered, your festival experience doesn’t have to come at the expense of our environment. The Look Out for Our Planet campaign invites everyone to take action for the environment…

What Latitude is doing to Look Out for Our Planet:
🌱 Latitude is powered with Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO) fuel which is 100% fossil-fuel free
🌱 We are reducing single use plastic. Water and soft drinks are served in cans, and no virgin single-use plastic is used
🌱 No waste is sent to landfill, and we prioritise recycling. In 2025, 55% of waste was diverted
🌱 All food packaging and cutlery are 100% compostable

What you can do to Look Out for Our Planet:
♻️ Choose green travel options like public transport or car sharing. It’s super convenient and a great way to start your Latitude adventure sustainably
♻️ Pack smart and only bring essential items – remember your reusable water bottle!
♻️ Visit groups like Climate Live, Greenpeace, and Every Can Counts at Henham Park
♻️ Enjoy a plant-based meal
♻️ Return cups, bottles and cans to the return point and collect 10p per item

If you’re camping:
💚 Please make sure to take your tent and all camping equipment home with you
💚 Keep a tidy camp and use the bins and recycling points provided
💚 Drop any non-perishable food for donation at the AIRHubs

Together, we can demonstrate the vital support needed for the Earth’s protection.
