LOWER LANDS SHARE WEEZER ‘BUDDY HOLLY’ COVER ACOUSTIC SESSION – ‘CANVAS’ EP OUT NOW VIA I AM MIGHTY RECORDS

Lincolnshire alt-rock quartet Lower Lands have shared a special acoustic cover of the Weezer classic ‘Buddy Holly’, which showcases front man Benji Inkley’s faultless live vocals perfectly.
You can watch and embed the session here:

Their second EP ‘Canvas‘ is out now for free download via I Am Mighty Records – it’s available at their bandcamp page for the very fair sum of £0 here: http://lowerlands.bandcamp.com/album/canvas

Canvas’ is the follow up to debut release Growing Pains and is another 5 track EP recorded by Neil Kennedy at The Ranch Production House in the South of England (Gnarwolves, Bastions, The Catharsis). New material sees the band consolidating their sound with a raw effervescence, newfound self-awareness and an uncovered individuality that has seen them striding out onto the UK scene and turning a few important heads already; the Mallory Knox-esque swagger of title track Canvas rubbing shoulders happily with heavier offerings like Wasted Youth, recalling personal heroes Reuben at their best.

UK Live Dates (full summer tour dates TBA):

18th July – Leeds – The Wardrobe w/ Attention Thieves
22nd July – Southampton – Avondale House (free show)
