The New Single from New York City based Luke Rathborne, “Losing It” sees him following up on the promise of last LP, “SOFT” in fine Prince-like, Fine Young Cannibals meets 70’s come Kraut Rock form and some of the aural Spaceyness of War on Drugs at their best. The track finds Rathborne lost in a swirl of synths and falsetto while bassist Darren Will whirrs along locked tightly with Drummer Jamie Alegre’s groove, with Rathborne filling out all the rest of the instruments, keys, percussion, dripping electronics, and wash of tangled guitars and JUNO synthesizers.

Rathborne is announcing the upcoming March full length LP release, “AGAIN”, the follow-up to 2014’s, “SOFT” (garnering over 3 million streams on Spotify in the past few months) on his own label True Believer, along with a Co-Headline Tour with Captured Track’s Alex Caldner across the USA this Spring with UK dates to be announced.

Produced by Ted Young (Kurt Vile, Sonic Youth) and Luke Rathborne the album is a Post-glam look at a young drifter’s Metropolitan adventures, while slowly losing his cool.

“an off kilter piece of indie pop, the sort of torn and tattered gem which Guided By Voices coughed up in their peak.” – Clash Magazine

“laid-back, confident new wave-meets-classic rock cut containing just the right amount of Nick Lowe and early R.E.M.” – Noisey

“All Classic American Underground.” – FUSE TV
