LYKKE LI
ANNOUNCES LONDON HEADLINE SHOW @ KOKO
JUNE 11TH, 2026

NEW ALBUM – THE AFTERPARTY – OUT MAY 8
PRE-ORDER

In the wake of two iconic performances at Coachella and in celebration of her new album The Afterparty out May 8th, pop’s trailblazing disrupter Lykke Li announces her return to London to headline KOKO on Thursday June 11th.

This show will be the first time Lykke Li has played in London since 2022 and falls amidst a run of European shows that include both festival slots and high-profile slots performing with Nick Cave, Robyn and Wolf Alice.

Latest single ‘Sick of Love’ dropped just days ahead of her Coachella performance. This was the first time Lykke Li performed music from her latest body of work and marked the beginning of her 2026 tour which took her to The Fonda in Los Angeles last week, now moves to Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Mexico City, Ireland, London and across Europe this summer. For more information, go to https://lykkeli.com/tour/

Tickets for the London show will be available @ 10am (BST) as follows:

Wednesday April 22nd – O2 pre-sale
Thursday April 23rd – KOKO Members pre-sale
Friday April 24th – General Sale HERE

Executive produced and written by Lykke Li and longtime collaborator Björn Yttling in Los Angeles and recorded in Stockholm with a 17-piece string orchestra, The Afterpartyblends disco-glowing strings, flute flourishes, and what Lykke Li calls “apocalyptic bongos,” with lyrics that confront shame, desire, and existential uncertainty. At just 24 minutes, the album is both expansive and exacting, a dance record for the end of the world, capturing the strange clarity that arrives once the party is over.

Across nearly two decades, Lykke Li has carved a singular lane in modern pop defined by emotional extremity, melodic precision, and fearless intimacy. Since her breakout debut Youth Novels (2008) and the global success of ‘I Follow Rivers’, she has continued to evolve through the critically acclaimed Wounded Rhymes (2011), I Never Learn (2014), So Sad So Sexy (2018), and the immersive audiovisual album EYEEYE (2022).
