Mac DeMarco announces Summer 2026 tour, including three-night run at London’s O2 Academy Brixton

“sweetly nostalgic” – NME

“Languid indie lullabies from LA-based slacker supremo” – Uncut: 8/10

“DeMarco offers up a dozen spare, languid songs recorded with just guitar and drums, intimate paeans to the challenges of sobriety and the transformative magic of live music.” – The Independent

“‘Guitar’ is stunning and deeply idiosyncratic, unlike anything else in his discography. It contains some of his most intimate and sophisticated songwriting.” – The New Yorker

Mac DeMarco today announces an extensive run of UK and European shows for summer 2026, including a three-night residency at London’s O2 Academy Brixton on June 10, 11, and 12. These shows mark DeMarco’s return to the iconic London venue for the first time since his sold-out 2019 run.

Kicking off June 4 at Primavera Sound in Barcelona, DeMarco will perform throughout Spain, the UK, the Netherlands, Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland, Austria, Hungary, Slovenia, Italy, Turkey, Ireland, Belgium, France, and Portugal.

Mac DeMarco’s recent album, Guitar, is out now via Mac’s Record Label(stream/ buy here).

Guitar was written and recorded in its entirety in November 2024 at Mac’s home in Los Angeles. Except for the mastering, which was handled by DavidIves, Mac created and handled all aspects of this record on his own, including mixing the album in Canada, and shooting the artwork on tripods. Mac comments, “I think Guitar is as close to a true representation of where I’m at in my life today as I can manage to put to paper. I’m happy to share this music, and look forward to playing these songs as many places as I’m able.”
