Madison Bailey unveils a new single entitled “Honestly”
Acoustic guitar sets the tone for the track, underscoring her gentle vocal delivery. Brandishing an impressive range and hypnotic high register, she holds nothing back with a confession on the chorus, “Honestly, I can’t take another tragedy.” Meanwhile, emotion practically overflows from her words, “Every day just feels like it’s the hardest.” Ultimately, “Honestly” further affirms her as raw and relatable musical presence.
Stay tuned for the premiere of a cinematic music video to accompany the song soon.
About “Honestly,” Madison commented, “’Honestly’ is a really vulnerable and candid song. It’s a deep-cut but it’s also very matter of fact. It really describes that feeling of ‘how much more can I possibly take?’ I hope people sing their hearts out to this one in the car.”
Earlier this fall, she delivered her debut single “The Grey.” Beyond amassing over a million streams, it earned critical acclaim. Right out of the gate, The Hollywood Reporter praised how “Bailey is returning to her first love, sharing her voice with the world.” As part of an in-depth interview, Teen Vogue applauded “The Grey,” going on to profess, “It reminds me of the pop-R&B hits we used to have in the early 2000s, a very nostalgic, smooth vibe.” WhoWhatWearraved, “Over early 2000s–inspired chords, she sings about the empowering feeling that comes with living in two worlds and standing in her power.”
It’s just the beginning though. Stay tuned for more new music coming from Madison Bailey soon.

About Madison Bailey:
Madison Bailey had quietly waited her whole life for her voice to be heard. Of course, audiences worldwide had already fallen in love with her, thanks to a lead role on the NETFLIX juggernaut Outer Banks and dozens of other roles. However, she had harbored musical ambitions for as long as she can remember. Born in North Carolina, mom and dad adopted Madison early on, and she grew up in a loving family with six older siblings. As soon as she discovered music, she often locked herself in the bathroom and belted out karaoke favorites for hours in addition to performing “shows” in the living room and garage. Simultaneously, she joined every church choir and vocal group possible, while mom entered her into competitions and mall events. After signing to an agency for modeling, she shifted over to acting and launched her career. As an actress, her body of work has spanned Constantine [2015], Mr. Mercedes [2017], Two Roads [2018], Black Lightning [2018, 2019], Creepshow [2019], American Horror Stories [2021], and more. However, she reached critical mass as Kiara “Kie” Carrera in Outer Banks. The latter clinched #1 on NETFLIX’s Top 10 Global English TV List for two weeks and earned over 99 million hours viewed. Other credits have included Paramount’s thriller THE PAINTER and NETFLIX’s horror flick TIME CUT. Expanding her influence across culture, Tommy Hilfiger notably chose her as a “Tommy Girl.” Between shooting seasons of Outer Banks, she found herself with a rare pocket of free time, and she decided to formally pursue music. Now, Madison’s moment has arrived with a series of 2024 singles such as “The Grey” and “Honestly” and her forthcoming debut for Republic Records.
