Following the announcement that she’ll be performing at Rolling Loud Miami this December, Atlanta newcomer Maleigh Zan has just shared her new single “Studio54” – out now along with an accompanying visualizer. Named for the iconic NYC disco outfit, “Studio54” is a bouncy, club-ready anthem rooted in a danceable beat and fiery refrain (“How dare you n—–?”). The song arrives on the heels of her recent link-up with Southern rap superstar Anycia on “Go Crazy”, which was praised by HipHopDX in their New Music Friday column, and follows her run supporting Nia Archives on her headlining North American Junglist Tour. Maleigh first turned heads with her viral debut track “Gag”upon its release last November, including that of Timbaland, who hopped on the song’s remix, and The Blessed Madonna, who soon co-signed her.

Raised by a musically-inclined family, Maleigh Zan cites the likes of Prince, Janet Jackson, Charli xcx, and Chaka Khan, as well as her uncle DJ NSA, a house icon within Atlanta’s LGBTQ+ community, as key artistic influences. She began modeling at age 16 and moved to Los Angeles after graduating high school in 2020, where she would go on to land major campaigns with brands like MAC, Fenty, Guess, Garage, Target, and Sephora before moving back home to pursue music. Since then, she’s released singles “Work” and “8 Ball” and wrapped a slate of European live dates, including All Points East in London. Now gearing up for the release of her debut project, Maleigh Zan’s distinct sound is a tribute to the culture and community that raised her — ready to nod heads from sweaty nightclubs and dance floors to ballrooms and runways worldwide.

The prolific 22-year-old Savannah-born, Atlanta-based artist, Maleigh Zan, has been making waves since her club-ready 2023 Hip-Hop, Dance, and Pop infused banger, “Gag”(2M Streams) as well as the track’s subsequently released From The Block live performance in early 2024. The record’s success caught the attention of Grammy-award winning producer Timbaland, who worked with Maleigh on a remix of the song, “Gag” remix, and The Blessed Madonna, who has quickly become a friend and mentor. Recent months have seen appearances from Maleigh on BBC Radio 1Xtra with Jeremiah Asiamah as well as Rinse FM in a celebration of Black Pride. Having since linked with Anycia on recent single “Go Crazy”, wrapped a slate of European live dates that included All Points East in London, and earned a supporting slot on Nia Archives’ North American headlining tour, Maleigh Zan is now keeping her hot streak going as she prepares to release more music later this fall.
