Malihini announce debut album ‘Hopefully, Again’

We’re really excited to announce that Malihini’s debut album ‘Hopefully, Again’ will be released 08 March 2019. Today they’re sharing the title track from the record, the woozy and intimate ‘Hopefully, Again‘, which perfectly showcases the chemistry between co-lead singers Federica and Giampaolo.

Their name may mean ‘newcomers’ in Hawaiian, but Malihini, aka Rome-based duo Giampaolo Speziale and Federica Caiozzo, deal exclusively in the music of lived experience and time-honed emotional intelligence, their disarming musical universe never less than distinctive, yet resonating with a confessional, modern European pop sophistication of a kind elsewhere purveyed by the likes of Charlotte Gainsbourg, Jose Gonzalez and Our Broken Garden.

‘Hopefully, again‘ is released on 08 March 2019, pre-order it here on limited edition signed orange LP, black LP, CD and digitally. Go here for all your other pre-ordering options (indie stores will also be carrying limited numbers of the orange vinyl version).
