MALIHINI SHARE DEBUT EP LOSE EVERYTHING
FIRST EVER HEADLINE SHOW ON MONDAY @ THE WAITING ROOM, LONDON
MEMPHIS INDUSTRIES ANNOUNCE LOST CHRISTMAS 2017 FEATURING DUTCH UNCLES, WARM DIGITS AND MALIHINI
Malihini today release their debut EP Lose Everything, and it is now available to stream and share in full via the Memphis Industries Soundcloud. The EP features two previously-unheard tracks in the shape of “Michael” and the titular “Lose Everything“.
“We wanted the EP to capture that moment when you first start writing together, when you make yourself vulnerable to someone else, and hopefully we managed to do that,” said Giampaolo Speziale.
Previously, the Rome x London duo had shared the tracks “Miss” and “Drums, Rock and Roll” via DIY and Loud and Quiet, respectively.
Malihini are Giampaolo Speziale and Federica Caiozzo. Lose Everything was produced by Richard Formby (Wild Beasts, Darkstar, Ghostpoet). The duo’s first ever headline show will take place this Monday (2nd October) at The Waiting Room, London (ticket link).
Malhini are also confirmed to appear at Memphis Industries’ Lost Christmas event on 16th December. There are just 78 shopping days until they’ll take to the stage at Moth Club, London alongside labelmates Dutch Uncles and Warm Digits.

About Malihini
Speziale and Caiozzo met in early 2015 and, in what Federica describes as a “moment of surrender,” decided to start making music together on a road trip through Austria, Germany and Poland. The duo gathered thirty improvised musical ideas and spent eight days recording with their friend and drummer Alberto Paone in a Roman studio.
Last year, they decided to break from their previous musical incarnations and moved from Rome to London, taking with them a hard drive of songs, a battered suitcase and vinyl copies of Nick Drake‘s Five Leaves Left and Stevie Wonder‘s Hotter Than July.
