Man Or Astroman? To Unleash ‘Your Weight On The Moon’
Peel favourites Man Or Astroman? release their first album for Newcastle based One Louder Records.
Man Or Astroman? are notorious |B-movie addicts whose garage/surf instrumentalists are peppered with dialogue from old movies, their new album, ‘Your Weight On The Moon’ is no exception.
The band was reportedly recorded the album at an abandoned site at Cape Canaveral Space Centre. The majority of the songs were recorded near Complex 34, made infamous by the Apollo 1 disaster taking the lives of American astronauts Gus Grissom,Edward White and Rodger Chaffe.
The band kick off with a live session on Radio 1’s Mark Radcliffe session on Monday 29th August before starting on a UK tour.
