The Members To Headline The Launch Party Of The Annual Punk Rock And Roll Art Show 2017 In SE1.
Exclusive and original artwork from various punk rock and roll musicians and launch party at the Underdog Art Gallery, London SE1- 6-10 October 2017
The Punk Rock And Roll Art Show is pleased to announce The Members will be performing at the launch party night for the start of the exhibition on Friday 6th October 6.30-1am.
The Sound of the Suburbs stars, The Members will be supported by Charlie Harper – UK Subs, Andy Blade – Eater and Spizz Energi with DJ Jeff Munday at the Underdog Art Gallery, Arch 6, Crucifix Lane, London Bridge, SE1 3JW.
Plus a special reading from Celeste Bell, daughter of Poly Styrene -X-Ray Spex who narrates a new documentary due to be released in November 2018. Clips of Poly Styrene: I Am A Cliché will be running throughout the event.
Sniffin’ Glue writer and editor Stephen Micalef AKA Steve Mick’ will be providing a selection of punk poetry to celebrate the genre.
The Punk Rock And Roll Art Show is a free exhibition showcasing original affordable artwork from various punk rock and roll musicians and their friends.
The exhibition runs daily from 11-7pm from 6-10th October. The evening launch party takes place on Friday 6th October 6.30pm- 1am.

Reknown, subculture photographer, Derek Ridgers will have his ‘Punk London 1977’ book available – this documents the extremities of youth-culture; from the early days of punk with 130 vintage photos, capturing the formation of one of the world’s most exciting fashion and music scenes which still endures.
Finally, new for this year will be rock photographer, Grant Fleming provides a series of exclusive images from early performance and backstage of Primal Scream plus a short film ‘Tribute To The Throb’.
