Metal Hammer’s ‘Breakthrough Artist’ Winners Of Mice & Men have announced their release of double A-side ‘Would You Still Be There’ & ‘Feels Like Forever’ on 1st December. The songs, taken from the album ‘Restoring Force’ which charted at #4 in the US and #17 in the UK has now sold well over 160,000 copies.
Of Mice & Men have teamed with USA Today for the video premiere of ‘Feels Like Forever,’ the companion clip to their new single. The stunning video, was directed by Nathan William and filmed in Los Angeles.
“In the studio, Feels Like Forever was the FIRST song we demoed, and ended up being the LAST song we finalized recording. It fought back. It’s a song we all personally in the band have an attachment to for various reasons. To see it come to life visually, in our own backyard of Southern California, altogether in a video, was a great experience to be apart of. Sand in my shoes still and all.” says singer Austin Carlile.

‘Would You Still Be There’, to me is a song about knowing that you’ve done wrong to someone you are close to & you are asking, almost begging for forgiveness.” says Drummer, Valentino. “Nobody is perfect, we all make mistakes but it takes the bigger person to admit that fact & attempt to rectify the situation.’ He continues, ‘something we really focused on for this album was trying different ideas than what we have done on past albums & I think ‘Would You Still Be There’, and ‘Feels Like Forever‘ are perfect examples of how OM&M has matured in sound & songwriting.’
Of Mice & Men recently headlined The Pit stage at this years Reading & Leeds Festival and will return to the UK and Europe as main support for the Linkin Park this November which kicks off November 3 in Zurich and includes two nights at London’s 02 Arena.
