The Mispers‘ new single ‘Shoulder’
After forming only 18 months ago, The Mispers have had a lively start with 9 sell-out London shows, European tours, packed out house party gigs and a busy summer of festivals, including the likes of Secret Garden Party and Kendal Calling, with an ever expanding fanbase for their energetic and memorable live shows.
After initially releasing first single ‘Brother’ on their own label ‘Missing Til Monday’ followed by self-titled debut EP ‘The Mispers’, their second EP ‘Dark Bits’ was released with B-Unique Records in July. The EP featured 4 tracks that documented the group’s lives and especially their popular ‘Missing Til Monday’ parties, where the video for lead track ‘Dark Bits’ was filmed.
New single ‘Shoulder’ proves to be an impressive step up from their previous material, effortlessly blending the pastoral indie-folk graces of the likes of Alt-J, with their own signature brand of violin-infused indie rock. As the band describe, “Shoulder is a hopeful song about unity, and about how much more can be achieved when you stick together.”
The Mispers have just announced three headline London live shows in November.
