Iconic electronic DJ/chanteuse Miss Kittin has unveiled a dramatic new video for ‘What To Wear’, taken from her new album ‘Calling From The Stars’ (wSphere). The double album is the first solo release since 2008’s ‘Batbox’, proudly showing Miss Kittin on fine electronic popstar form.
‘What To Wear’ is also the title of a forthcoming EP, out on wSphere on the 24th June.

Miss Kittin, as also know as Caroline Hervé, elaborates on the inspiration behind the song: “Some people spend hours in front of the mirror getting dressed, replacing their clothes with emotions.
They’re the same vain people who behave according to whom they are speaking to and never really show who they are. You find many of these people at parties. Call them hypocrites if you like, but I find them mostly too insecure to be who they want to be. Oh, and I was too lazy to write a second verse so I translated it into French for a change!”
Additionally Miss Kittin is in the midst of a full European tour, making a triumphant return to live performance after many years behind the decks. With an utterly spectacular London XOYO show just passed, the career-spanning live show is a truly fantastical and stylish Miss Kittin experience. Kittin will return to the UK to play Lovebox 21st July, the shows are an unmissable and unique collaboration with Tate Modern artist and film-maker, Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster as Art Director. Disc one of forthcoming album ‘Calling From The Stars’ offers up all of the elements that have made Miss Kittin one of the most popular names in electronic music: simple yet evocative lyrics set to an undeniable electro-flavored techno beat. It also showcases a new side of the notoriously enigmatic Miss Kittin, that of an artist unafraid to reveal her inner emotions and beliefs. Disc two is a more ambient take, witnessing Kittin’s minimal techno credentials take flight over the ten instrumental tracks.
