With the debut of “She, Untamed” today via Noisey, Mode Moderne reveals the first sounds from their imminent new album Occult Delight. Slathered in New Wave and black nail polish, “She, Untamed” delivers the ideal introduction to Mode Moderne’s evolutionary journey with producer Joshua Stevenson (Jackie O Motherfucker, Pink Mountain Tops). Stevenson traverses the fusion of Phillp Intilé’s torrid vocals and the lush machinery of synths and guitars, cementing Occult Delight as a must-listen for anyone thumbing through their vinyl collection looking for The Smiths or Joy Division as their seasonal depression starts to kick in.
