The latest names to be revealed for Europe’smost famous folk festival are one of the most influential songwriters of hisgeneration and multiple Grammy Award winner, JohnPrine ♦award winning Texan blues singer RuthieFoster, who is consistentlypraised for her powerful live performances ♦ the eclectic Irish band Four Men & ADog who have a earned a reputation for blending traditional musicwith other genres ♦ The Unwanted,Cathy Jordan of Dervish, harmonica wizard Rick Epping and multi-instrumentalistSeamie O’Dowd, playing Irish Americana songs which have travelled back andforward across the Atlantic. ♦the US singer-songwriter Anaïs Mitchell, fromVermont who Q described as “a true American original” ♦Justin Adams and Juldeh Camara’s band JuJuwhich “channels trancey rhythms from traditional Africa,leftfield jazz and the wilder end of rock” ♦ Blues Award winner andBlues Hall of Fame inductee 2012, the last surviving star of the SouthernLouisiana blues scene, Lazy Lester &Friends who had hits for Excello in 50s and 60s ♦ and Lera Lynn, a singer songwriter from Athens Georgia whospecializes in southern folk and American music.
