One of the UK’s brightest rock bands My Passion have announced a worldwide deal with Spinefarm Records, the harder, darker side of Universal music and the UK home to monsters of rock such as Rammstein, Five Finger Death Punch, Volbeat, Children Of Bodom, Apocalyptica & Dead By April. The deal will see their forthcoming album, “Inside This Machine” released on the 18th April 2011.

My Passion frontman Laurence Rene says, “We have always been a band on our own agenda, with our own minds and a fierce independent side, It’s key that we can maintain that whilst having the support to grow and this isn’t something we have rushed into. We have big ideas of the things we wish to achieve with our future releases and tours and having our own machine working inside this far bigger machine  will give us the right platform to build on all we have done so far without compromising any of our artistic control…”“It is time for us to launch the war on the boring and the unimaginative, it is time for a change, it is time to start stimulating everyone’s senses. We are ready to entertain and captivate people again in a grey world focused on the mundane and the ordinary.  2011 Will see us push our own boundaries of theatrical and futuristic Rock. We are just at the beginning and being in this band with its open mind and body is such an exciting thing to be a part of, I hope many more people can join us on the adventure.”

Dante Bonutto from Spinefarm says, “Spinefarm Records & My Passion share a common, instinctive love for the dramatic, the decadent and the darkly glamorous. We’re delighted to be working with a band who are so wildly ambitious, both musically & visually; a band who have taken the current misconception that rock is ‘dead’ as a pure & personal challenge, and whose front-man has turned up to every meeting clad head to toe in black leather. Really, you can’t ask for more…”
2010 saw My Passion emerge as one of the most exciting new British rock bands. Following the release of critically acclaimed debut album “Corporate Flesh Party” in 2009, 2010 saw the band embark on a string of sell out headline tours, performances at Download festival and Japan’s Summer Sonic and culminating in a special one off London Christmas show in December.
