March 17, 2025 – NADUH announce their highly anticipated project, their first EP to be released with Birthday Cake Records. Leaving their “uppercase era’ (in reference to how all of their previous work was titled), NADUH embrace the highs and lows of being on earth and in the 3D. They dive into a hip-hop tinged neo-soul world enriched with harmonies and introspection. duh has relaxing, sexy, pleasured of the flesh vibes – something the 5 piece girl group describes as “perfect to smoke to and perfect for the summer”. The EP was written on a trip to Mexico where the band ate, slept, and drank the “NADUSIAN energy”. Lead producer, TARANEH, “the chef”, would cook up fresh beats daily while the group would riff off each other in the sunshine; creating the sensual, playful new tracks that have an undeniable repeatable quality.
The first single from this project, “delulu”, released on Valentine’s Day, shares a tale of vulnerability and empowerment, exploring the delusions of love and the tug-of-war between fantasy and reality. The saucy anthem for those caught in the dreamy haze of love’s intoxicating pull. The brand new music video, directed by Jess Wong and creative directed by NADUH, is a nostalgic 90s sleepover party featuring a charming cameo from Rosita’s mother. Inspired by MTV-esque bright colours, the clothing iron hair straightening trick, and a nod to the 1996 cult classic “The Craft”. To lean into the vintage vibes, Estrella Lo’s analog VFX were incorporated with hand-drawn doodles, physical elements added to prints that were scanned and reuploaded into the video. It was a dream to create a video time capsule that lives in the hearts of NADUH and to remind people to “have sleepovers with your besties, have a pillow fight, goof around and get ‘delulu’”

Last year, NADUH released “THROBBY”, their first single with Birthday Cake Records; a lush blend of 80s house and neo hip-hop production. The single pulses with flowing disco vocals and thick subs that draw the listener into the moment. When listening to the song, NADUH asks you to picture waves crashing on golden shores, fresh fruit, sunshine, and the thrill of living in the now. The music video, directed by Jess Wong, was shot entirely in Mexico and has the band members revelling in the sun, frolicking on the beach and celebrating their sisterhood. In classic NADUH fashion, the song and video reverberate with messaging of empowerment, joy, and taking in all that life has to offer.
