April 9, 2025 – 5 piece R&B girl group NADUH, release a new single, titled “redlight”, from their upcoming album – duh. This R&B single features NADUH’s signatures; smooth harmonies, playful bars, and a strong Hip-Hop fuelled beat. Despite the energy of the song, it actually speaks to the need to rest and reflect. Speaking out against the pressures of grind culture, the single is a shoutout to introverts who “need to go redlight”, stay inside, and rest up in bed. Lifted from their experience writing the album in Tulum, Mexico, they found themselves focused on their health and being amongst each other. Finding creativity in their indoor routine, despite being in a new environment and urging themselves to go out, they found that they were all more tired than they realized and needed to keep it “lowkey; eating, chilling, and resting together”.
NADUH’s upcoming album, duh, will be out on May 23, 2025 via Birthday Cake Records. The project has them “leaving their UPPERCASE era” (referring to their previous all-caps titling of tracks) and entering into a “more refined, lowercase moment”. The album sees NADUH embracing the highs and lows of being on earth through neo-soul, hip-hop tinged tracks that are always harmony rich and introspective. They created the perfect “smoke something and listen” album with relaxing, moody, sexy, pleasures of the flesh vibe.

“I lay up in my bed like,
Think I need to go red light
Think I need to go red light
Think I need to go red light
Need to stop so I feel right
Take a minute to breathe, I
Think I need to go red light”
The spirited, funky “redlight” music video, directed by Mia Jane, and produced by Natasha Dion, features the band singing along to the words in a whitebox studio, all in carefully selected outfits that showcase their personal style while matching the “redlight” theme. The girls perform to the camera, playfully interact with the camera, and are separately spotlit in the red-washed group scenes.

Prior to “redlight”, NADUH shared their Valentine’s Day single– a saucy anthem for those caught in the dreamy haze of love’s intoxicating pull, entitled “delulu”. NADUH weaves a tale of vulnerability and empowerment in this single, exploring the delusions of love and the tug-of-war between fantasy and reality. The song’s hook, “Got me acting delulululu for ya,” is a playful earworm that perfectly encapsulates the whirlwind of emotions in those moments when your heart takes the reins.
