Our New Shapes day party is coming out swinging for SX 2016. This year we’re teaming up once again with our good friends at Communion, Chess Club, National Anthem, This Fiction and THREEE for yet another twin tower bill for the ages, but going bigger and better than ever before at our brand new Austin home Barracuda. Lighting up the outside stage, we’ve got DC’s brightest Sun Club before UK buzz kids Pumarosa and KLOE set the stage for CMJ’s breakout stars Lewis Del Mar, our down under superstars Tigertown and teen dream sensation GraceMitchell.
Inside, we’ve got femme fatal heartbreakers Transviolet and Frances before our beloved dreamers Savoir Adore take things up a notch and Belgium’s biggest band Oscar & The Wolf close things out alongside UK living legends Everything Everything in the indoor finale. It’s all going down next Wednesday March 16th at Barracuda (formerly Red7), with free entry with RSVP HERE for all you 21+ folk out there, so come one, come all, but come early as this party tends to fill up fasttt. SXSW is so close we can taste the endless BBQ and branded #content already. This year, we’re going larger than ever and teaming up with our friends at Nylon for yet another double trouble two stage extravaganza featuring the best new talent from all over the world. Inside, we’ve got UK prodigies Declan McKenna and Will Joseph Cook starting things off early, before LA darlings Partybaby and XYLØ kick things to high gear and the inimitable Gryffin closes things out in style with his high octane live set.
Outside, we’ve got familiar faces Savoir Adore, our new girl group pop crush MUNA, Belgium’s finest Oscar & the Wolf, and a one-two Aussie sucker punch of our beloved Tigertown and Vallis Alps before the people’s champion, Jack Garratt, shuts it all down in the headline. It’s all going down next Friday, March 18th, at Empire Garage and Control Room.
