NEW DAMAGE RECORDS SIGNS ALTERNATIVE METALLERS WILSON
ANNOUNCE RELEASE OF DEBUT ALBUM FULL BLAST FUCKERY OUT JULY 9
DEBUT NEW SONG ON LOUDWIRE
(May 8, 2013 – Toronto, ON) – NEW DAMAGE RECORDS is proud to announce the addition of Detroit-based alternative metallers WILSON to its roster. Subscribing to the old-school ethos of heavy riffs and heavier partying, WILSON will release their debut full-length album Full Blast Fuckery on July 9, 2013. To get a little taste of what to expect on their new record, WILSON has partnered up with Loudwire for an exclusive premiere of the bands latest track “College Gangbang”. In addition to a stream of the song, WILSON has provided Loudwire with top-secret home video footage to further enhance your full blast aural experience. Get in on the action with the premiere of “College Gangbang” HERE.
Produced by Steve Evetts (The Dillinger Escape Plan, Every Time I Die), Full Blast Fuckery is the follow-up to the band’s sold-out debut EP Standing on the Reel. The album was recorded “the ol’ fashioned way” with instruments, analog gear and countless takes. For more on the new album, check out the bands teaser trailer:
ILSON is comprised of Chad Nicefield (Vocals), Matt Puhy (Drums), Jason Spencer (Guitar), Kyle Landry (Guitar) and James Lascu (Bass). The band has toured relentlessly since 2010, playing over a 100 shows that year alone. The band recently wrapped up a successful tour with GWAR and Warbeast and is now preparing to hit the road supporting Newsted in the U.S this May. Canadian tour dates in support of the new album will be announced in the coming months.
