Stylotone produce Original Motion Picture Soundtracks working alongside composers, directors, and film studios to release never-before-available recordings to classic and contemporary cinema. People they have already worked with include the Estates of Bernard Herrmann, Alfred Hitchcock, Henry Mancini, Elmer Bernstein, Frank Cordell and directors Quentin Tarantino and Larry Cohen.

To assemble their releases they leave no stone unturned, transferring the best available music elements in the world using cutting-edge archival preservation tools. Their vinyl is assembled, mastered and cut at Abbey Road Studios by Sean Magee, who was personally responsible for cutting the recent mono and stereo editions of The Beatles vinyl catalogue.

In order to capture the aesthetic of each film, their team of highly trained forensic lab technicians at Stylotone Towers toil away to ensure that every last detail is designed and produced to the highest possible standard. For example, where necessary, they use old fashioned manufacturing processes to specially print British Quad film posters and not only do they match the poster weight of the time, but also the correct machine folds (since film posters would be folded and inserted into large brown envelopes before arriving in the post for display at the cinema – this was before digital media, kids!).

Stylotone believe that buying a soundtrack should deliver an experience. They include both 180g Vinyl LP and a ‘Vinyl Replica’ CD in their Deluxe Edition releases, along with high-resolution and convenient MP3 downloads of the entire audio package (sometimes with even more!), and a 30” x 40” British Quad Film Poster. Their Super-Deluxe Edition packages include everything from the Deluxe Editions but are very limited runs of 180g Coloured Vinyl with additional fan memorabilia/ephemera, such as, hand signed certificates, 7” singles and other goodies.
