NEW MUSIC + VIDEO FROM HANDS LIKE HOUSES
Australia’s critically acclaimed HANDS LIKE HOUSES has released a new song and video titled, “I Am”. The song is the first new material since the 2014 release of the band’s stripped-down EP, Reimagine. “I AM” will be available on iTunes today.
Vocalist Trenton Woodley offers: On the road we’ve seen such an awesome collective of people connecting with music – on both sides of the barricade – but amidst it all there is so often a disconnect between the words being spoken and what’s being heard. ‘I Am’ is a challenge to artists and anyone with a platform – to be responsible and accountable in what you sing, speak and scream, and to those listening – to challenge what you hear, never be afraid to question, disagree or speak out, and to create your own inspired perspective.
The new song was recorded in January 2015 at Grey Area studios in Los Angeles. Hands Like Houses is renowned for their eclectic blend of technical and effects – heavy songwriting, inspired lyrics, and explosive live performances. Their sophomore album, Unimagine was released in 2013 via Rise Records, and the band has since garnered a massive and dedicated international following, and has seen over 18 million views on YouTube. The band continues to gain massive support among both critics and fans and are showing no signs of slowing down in 2015.
