Last night, Devon Gilfillian joined Jason Isbell and a number of other charitable artists who gathered at Nashville’s City Winery for “Together In Action.” The sold-out concert raised funds that will go toward gun violence prevention efforts in Tennessee. Now Devon gears up for his first headline tour, which follows his recent appearance at Bonnaroo and headline set at Austin’s Blues On The Green.
This summer Gilfillian also hit the road for dates with Trombone Shorty, Mavis Staples, and Fantasy label-mate Grace Potter among others. Before joining My Morning Jacket for a string of European dates, he supported Emily King at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville for one amazingly memorable evening.
MMJ have now invited Devon back for some upcoming fall dates in Chicago, St. Louis and Atlanta. Those will follow his performances at both weekends of Austin City Limits Festival this October. All upcoming shows are included below, we hope to see you out there!
