September 2014 marked a significant time for Rukhsana, who set herself the task of writing, recording and releasing a song every week of the month, and so her “September Songs” EP was born. Flash forward one year later and a quarter of a million plays on Soundcloud, attention from BBC Radio 1, touring with Jack Garratt, Laura Mvula, Bear’s Den, Frances and Leon Bridges, and performances at Glastonbury, Somersault and Bushstock during 2015, September Songs is due an official release.
