New Video and UK Tour from Berlin’s GURR /

Berlin female duo Gurr release a new video from their debut EP Ode To Oatmeal to celebrate the special edition release for Record Store day.

Gurr have become one of the most successful new guitar bands from Germany and are making a dent internationally with features in The Guardian, Stereogum, DIY and many more. Watch out for their BBC Radio One session broadcast on 24th April.

“Andreya wrote the song when she came back from her study year abroad in the USA and didn’t have a job. Running low on money at the end of the month, she could only eat oatmeal and wrote the song about it.”

“We shot the video in our university in Potsdam and asked all our friends to come and throw oats at us. What you can’t see in the video is that there were 5 people on ladders around us, throwing oats out of buckets. It looked hilarious and was a complete mess to clean up
