Producer and rapper Donae’o has revealed the video to his new single ‘Black’, featuring grime heavyweights JME and Dizzee Rascal.

Speaking to The FADER, Donae’o said “I wanted this video to be representative of all of us and where we came from, and I feel like we achieved that. When I was producing the beat for ‘Black’ I wanted to recreate the energy from my first hit ‘My Philosophy (Bounce).’ Getting JME and Dizzee on the same track was key for me as well because they are both so important to the culture and from that era of grime”.

First premiered on DJ Target’s Radio 1Xtra show, ‘Black’ was produced by Donae’o himself, featuring his signature vocals – after hearing the beat, JME and Dizzee Rascal were both eager to jump on the track. ‘Black’ follows previous bangers this year ‘My Circle’ and ‘Polo’, both taken from Donae’o’s forth-coming second studio album ‘Grey Area’ out March 2017.
