Nick Grimshaw to host Barclaycard Mercury Prize Awards Show
The 2014 Barclaycard Mercury Prize Awards Show will take place on Wednesday, 29 October. The event is to be held at the Roundhouse in London and hosted by broadcaster Nick Grimshaw. Featuring performances from all of the 2014 shortlisted artists, the evening will culminate in the announcement of the overall winner of the 2014 Barclaycard Mercury Prize for Album of the Year.
Coverage of the event is being broadcast live on the night, starting with a 45 minute programme, presented by Alice Levine, on More4 at 9.30pm. The overall winner is also being revealed live on Channel 4 at 10.00pm. The entire Awards Show, including all live performances, will be broadcast in full on Friday 31 October on Channel 4.
