Nick Mulvey / unveils ‘Cucurucu’ video

Nick Mulvey is pleased to unveil the beautifully shot video to his forthcoming single ‘Cucurucu‘.

Shot on Nihiwatu beach in Indonesia by National Geographic director James Morgan, it was a video commissioned by Nick himself and filmed by Morgan in March 2013.
Nick says: “I felt this song needed a video with wide expanses. Space to wonder. I didn’t have to look too far for the right film maker – James is a friend of mine, and I’ve loved his work for National Geographic. I knew he’d understand what I was after and have something special in his vaults…”

Morgan added: “I’ve always enjoyed shooting in remote parts of Indonesia, the cultures are fascinating and there’s no shortage of beautiful locations.”

‘Cucurucu’ is released on 3rd March 2014 through Fiction Records.
A recent Radio 1 Track of the Day, ‘Cucurucu’ is arguably Nick at his most immediate, and acts as another tantalising taster to his forthcoming Spring album. It’s immediate in the sense that the melody lingers, the beat typically shuffles infectiously, and the almost unpronounceable title becomes your new middle name. Nick Mulvey’s forthcoming debut album is due to be announced imminently.
