Nine Inch Nails – ‘This Isn’t The Place’

Bluesy bass synth, skittering electronic drum sounds, strings that twist and turn, atonal piano flourishes and a singer who’s upset that he trusted you?  You guessed it!  A new Nine Inch Nails song.

Trent Reznor has just blessed the internet with a teaser for his upcoming NIN EP, Add Violence, and we should all bow in reverence and gratitude.  There’s an accompanying video that’s nowhere near as cool as the most recent Twin Peaks cameo (seriously, watch that a few/500 times), but what can you expect from a teaser, not to mention someone who isn’t David Lynch.

A slow build and a welcomed return.  Anyone that doesn’t want a universe with Trent’s neurosis is not your friend. 8/10
