Remaining enigmatic and off screen in previous videos but as someone who displays a keen sort of cognisance, The Sound finds Gunderson at the centre of the multi-layered video that captures the tension and dynamic of the track itself.

This self-awareness is manifest in The Sound as it explodes into action, the brooding sonics are heavier than the Seattle based musician’s previous offerings and it’s a compelling first single from upcoming album, White Noise, out through Cooking Vinyl on 22nd September 2017

He’s not really an “old soul,” so to speak but someone who has ingrained habit of questioning belief and the world around him. The product of a lifetime of learning to craft his own perspective; his parents, although devoutly religious, encouraged a questioning of dogma and church hierarchy. They also instilled in him a love of music from an early age Noah started writing and recording age 13, diving headlong into music, forming and leading bands, involving himself in the small but vibrant hardcore scene of Centralia, Washington, and writing prolifically all the while.

White Noise is Gunderson’s third full-length LP. Noah gained recognition with songs featuring on TV shows Sons of Anarchy, The Vampire Diaries and The Following as well as an Emmy nomination for his Sons of Anarchy co-write Day Is Gone and live performances along side Emmylou Harris, Beck, City & Colour and Josh Ritter.

Having sold out the Union Chapel on his last trip to London, Noah Gunderson will be returning to the capital and its sister city Manchester, to play two underplay shows in September:

* 11.09.17 London Borderline

* 12.09.17 Manchester Night & Day
