Norma announces debut album "Female Jungle" for February and unveils the sensual "Another Red Day"

After a fierce first EP in 2016, Norma is back today with Another Red Day, the first single off her upcoming debut album (to be released in February 2019 on her own label).

From the music to artwork and videos, Norma does everything herself. She made the video for Another Red Day on an inspired whim, with her phone and no money, while spending some time alone in her family home by the beach.Her debut album, Female Jungle, is an introspective journey through feminine desire and the struggle for self-acceptance. It’s about vulnerability, power, fantasy – about breaking down and rising up as a Woman. In her own words: “An urge to confess, necessary to my survival as a Wild Woman howling at the moon–a kind of erotic drive, taking root in the gut, the deep velvet of the womb”

It reveals a rare talent for melodies and songwriting, while oozing with sensuality and a «no-filter» eloquence.

Reminiscing of Fiona Apple, Shivaree, Portishead or an indie Dido – sometimes even 90s MTV divas, her music evokes the intimacy of the bedroom it was born in, but has a graceful universality, timeless style and a genre-bending soulfulness that suggests she’s only getting started.
She’ll be introducing her new songs in November during her «mini world solo tour», traveling from Paris to NY, via Stockholm or Berlin.
