Tired Of Tomorrow, the masterful second full-length album from Philadelphia’s alt rock/shoegaze giants, NOTHING, is out now on Relapse Records.
A record born out of a chain of events that forced frontman Domenic Palermo to drastically re-shape his perspective about both life and music, Tired Of Tomorrow borrows from both personal memoir and external works alike. NOTHING have worked the deepest influences of their youth and maturation into a package that’s ultimately at its most relevant in the present day. Watch the six-part making-of documentary for an unflinching look at the turbulent events surrounding the album on YouTube.
Tired Of Tomorrow has already seen widespread critical acclaim from the likes of Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, Noisey, NME, DIY, NPR, Stereogum, Kerrang!, Rock Sound, Total Guitar, Upset Magazine, The 405, Drowned In Sound, The Line Of Best Fit, and many more, and is currently streaming in full on NME.com.
Ahead of their impending “Tired of Tourism” tour, which will see the band hit cities across North America with Relapse label mates WRONG and California’s Culture Abuse, NOTHING will play two London UK shows tonight, beginning at Rough Trade East (unplugged instore) and a full set at Moth Club. A full list of US dates and festival appearances is accessible here.
In addition, NOTHING are hosting an exclusive album listening party and Q+A session at Sonos Studios London today at 1pm (tickets are free and availablehere).
Tired Of Tomorrow is out now on CD / LP / Deluxe 2xLP (with two bonus tracks) / Cassette and Digital.

Praise for Tired Of Tomorrow:
“…a muscular and expansive record, building on the shoegaze-meets-hardcore sound of their debut and showcasing their pop hooks and post-rock sensibilities.” NME
“…a dark, otherworldly affair […] which explores the realm between life and death, reality and dream.” Rolling Stone
“their most intense release yet, bringing together one of the worst years in the band’s life in a cathartic boom of an album.” Noisey
“Gentle shoegaze with a 90s alt-rock pop sensibility” Pitchfork
“Their most direct form to date” DIY
“a sonic powerhouse that manages to legitimise, rather than stigmatise, feelings of anxiety and paranoia” Drowned In Sound
“life-affirming melodic passages, emotively delivered via reverb-soaked guitar and Domenic Palermo’s disarmingly quiet vocals.” Rock Sound
“soaring hooks and misanthropic lyricism that strikes a chord with both the head and the heart.” The 405
“Capable of leaving heads spinning and hearts reeling” The Line of Best Fit
“A beautifully delicate and heartbreakingly poignant record.” Upset Magazine
“‘Veritigo Flowers’ is a huge, surging, melodic piece of work, and it sounds really good if you play it really loud” Stereogum
“A beautiful blur of distortion, frenetic drumming and voices submerged in windswept static” NPR
