OSAKA PUNCH

SMASH OUT LIVE VIDEO + RAMP UP FOR BIG 2016

STREAM/EMBED ‘ELECTRIC JAM ON BOOGIE’

Osaka Punch today are smashing out the final remnants of 2015 and are ready to punch 2016 in the nuts.

Coming straight off the stage at Jungle Love Festival 2015, they are today dropping a live video from a huge show at The Zoo in October.

The five-piece tour-de-force from Brisbane are saying goodbye to the year that was 2015, a year that saw them overseas in Europe for the most part, having their mettle tested and doing the hard yards, smashing out shows and recording while in a foreign land. Upon their return to the land down under, they promptly booked their return show at the iconic The Zoo, and damn-near sold it out, with nary a release to launch.

The video ‘Electric Jam on Boogie’ features other Brisbane stalwarts ‘Bullhorn’ and shows the band’s huge following in Brisbane.

2016 promises national touring, single and videoclip releases and finally, an album release in the later months of the year. The band will be touring on the back of a single the East Coast in February and March 2016 with dates and release information to be announced in January.

To sum up Osaka Punch – Heavy grooves + funk-infused badassery + bold, brash frontman + horns = FUCK YEAH.

The band has laid it down with a WIDE variety of artists – Little Birdy, Mammal, Ed Keupper, True Live, LABJACD, Faker, The Matches (US), Endorphin, Wolf and Cub, Cog, The Butterfly Effect and many, many more, as well as peddling their wares at Adelaide Fringe, Brisbane’s Sounds of Spring ’09 and The Gold coast Big Day Out 2011.
