With his new double A-side ‘Spiralen’ out today via PAMPA, DJ Koze turns the spotlight towards its wonderfully enigmatic counterpart, ‘Wo’s Patric?!?’.
If ‘Spiralen’ drifted through cosmic currents and softened realities, ‘Wo’s Patric?!?’ brings things a little closer to home. Or at least as close to home as a DJ Koze record ever gets. Humour, affection and absurdity sit comfortably alongside one another as the track unfolds with the same effortless unpredictability that has made Koze one of electronic music’s most distinctive voices.

What begins as a question gradually reveals itself as something else entirely: a celebration of presence, friendship and the small certainties that remain when everything else seems to be shifting around us.
The release follows Koze’s acclaimed 2025 album ‘Music Can Hear Us’, a record that once again demonstrated his singular ability to combine emotional depth, sonic experimentation and a mischievous sense of wonder. Where that album travelled across a vast constellation of collaborators and ideas, the Spiralen double A-side distils those qualities into two complementary pieces that showcase different sides of Koze’s creative universe.
Taken together, ‘Spiralen’ and ‘Wo’s Patric?!?’ form a perfectly balanced pairing. One reaches outward into the unknown; the other finds meaning in simply knowing that someone is there.
