ANNOUNCES NYE SHOW IN BOSTON AT LIZARD LOUNGE

“Pale Hands’ moody #indietronica LP Graphism reminds us that, in a time of frothing demagogues and unsightly political upheavals, there are still euphorias to chase.”
PopMatters

“What Pale Hands are doing, musically, is nothing short of phenomenal…”

New York, NY (December 21, 2016) – Boston’s Pale Hands released sophomore album, Graphism on Nov 18, a week after the presidential election. Rethinking their plan in promoting the album, the band issued a statement that any remaining promotional budget, tour funds and proceeds from the album would be donated to a list of non-profit organizations. Upon hearing this, a fan from Columbia (Ethereal Dreams) decided to make a video for the band’s lead track, “Dress Casual“.

Pale Hands creates melodic electro pop that’s spiritually akin to Cocteau Twins, CHVRCHES or a David Lynch soundtrack.  Building on their 2014 release, Spirit Lines, which iTunes called”…a fascinating debut” that “introduces a take-no-prisoners vision”, the band’s new release takes that ethereal energy and distills it. Dreamy synths, samples, and other electro-pop influences still pervade, but they’re brought into sharp relief with the addition of guitar parts that are alternately linear and melodic or intricate at turns.

Pale Hands will be performing a New Years Eve show on Dec 31 at Lizard Lounge in Cambridge w/ Old Jack.
