Panda Bear (Noah Lennox) and Sonic Boom (Peter Kember) released their instant classic record Reset in August to acclaim from fans and critics, who hailed the collaboration as “a psychedelic love-letter to pop music” (TIME) and “the most pleasurable release of either of their careers” (Pitchfork). This Friday, November 18, the album will see its physical release on CD and vinyl, and today the duo announces Reset (Expanded Edition), a deluxe digital version of the record that will be released on the same day. The expanded edition includes three new remixes – “Gettin’ to the Point” by the Irish producer and film composer David Holmes and “Everything’s Been Leading to This” and “Edge of the Edge” by the London trio Voka Gentle – as well as alternate mixes and instrumental versions of all nine tracks.Today Panda Bear and Sonic Boom share the new video for “Whirlpool,” created by Studio Sparks, as well as a visualizer for “Everything’s Been Leading to This (Songbook Instrumental).”
