London’s Parakeet premiered their brand new video for ‘Shonen Hearts’ on Noisey.com today, it’s the title track from their forthcoming debut EP released on Monday 19th November.

The self-released 6 track ‘Shonen Hearts’ EP is available to buy now from Parakeet’s Bandcamp and is set for physical release on limited-edition gold cassette on the 19th November, the same day as their Rough Trade instore.

The current run of Parakeet’s support dates for DIIV culminate tonight at London’s The Garage.

Parakeet is comprised of Yuck’s Mariko Doi, The History of Apple Pie’s James Thomas and Jon Jackson. The band’s music is awash with hypnotic vocals, understated pop sensibilities and irresistibly fuzzy guitars.
