Paul Weller Scorches Rumours of The Jam Are Set to Reform

Paul Weller has denied persistent rumours that The Jam are on the brink of reforming. Weller issued a statement following his recent US solo tour which read “Following continued speculation about the reformation of The Jam, , cumulating in five nights at Knebworth next summer… Paul Weller would like to take this opportunity to stamp out these rumours and dismiss them as bollocks!

Meanwhile he is currently working with drummer Steve White on a new album of cover versions entitled ‘Forty Days And Forty Nights’ which will include  a song by the soul standard bearers Sister Sledge.

Before the album’s is released, he will undertake a string of UK / Irish  dates in December.
