Penetration : tour dates spring 2016 to promote acclaimed ‘Resolution’ album

The autumn of 2015 saw first generation punk act Penetration release their third studio album,‘Resolution’, 36 years after the group initially split. It received unanimous critical praise, with the singles ‘Just Drifting’ and ‘Beat Goes On’ also attracting plentiful airplay across the BBC radio network. Singer Pauline Murray guested on 6 Music’s ‘Roundtable’ review show in late October, while the year ended with ‘Resolution’ voted no. 2 Album Of The Year by Vive Le Rock magazine and their back catalogue reissued and positively reassessed in ’The Virgin Years’ box set.


Having performed an initial run of live dates to support the release of ‘Resolution’, Penetration


will play a short UK tour this spring :

Penetration formed in 1976 at the dawn of the UK punk explosion. In this 40th anniversary year, the band have already been interviewed by The Guardian and other publications for retrospective features. Pauline Murray was also interviewed by Gary Crowley for a recent edition of his Punk & New Wave Show on Soho Radio, which can be heard here.
