Searches for ‘Peter Kay’ skyrocket by 1566% after Manchester’s Co-op Live Arena postponed opening shows

Analysis of Google search data reveals ‘Peter Kay’ has skyrocketed by 1566% over the past 24 hours after his first official tour dates are canceled.

The analysis by CSGOLuck reveals that the comedian’s online presence has seen a boost right after it was announced that his Tuesday and Wednesday dates were cancelled on Monday, 22nd April.

The venue, which will be the largest in the UK, held its first test event on Saturday but had to cancel some tickets just hours beforehand because it was not ready to hold the maximum capacity desired.

Kay’s performances have been rescheduled to 29th and 30th April.

Searches for Co-op Live have also surged by 97% since the announcement.
