One act which is surely the definition of a manly man’s Father’s Day kinda band is Boston’s post-hardcore heroes PILE. Never knowingly arsing around on their butts doing nothing, the tempestuous quartet are currently on yet another gargantuan European tour which is set to visit Nottingham Stuck On A Name Studios tonight, and then on to Leeds Brudenell Social Club (June 17th), Glasgow Hug & Pint (Father’s Day, natch), Manchester Gullivers (June 19th), Bristol Louisiana (June 20th) and London Corsica Studios (June 21st).
