Poeta Releasing “Golden Fields” on March 31′ Stream Title Track; Album Now Available For Pre-Order
New Jersey rockers Poeta will release a new album, “Golden Fields” on March 31.
Poeta just wrapped up a short Canadian tour with We Were Sharks (Panic State Records) and will be playing a series of shows in the months ahead. See dates below.
The title track is now streaming exclusively on New Noise.
Vocalist/guitarist Kevin Torres tells New Noise, “‘Golden Fields’ is a song that I wrote after having a conversation with someone who told me I was nothing but a dreamer. I was told to put my life into perspective and to make school a priority over music, but that just wasn’t what was going to make me happy. This song is about standing tall and rising up above the noise even when everyone is against you because dreams do come true, all it takes is a little bit of faith in yourself.”

For a band that gets their name from a gravestone, Poeta is anything but morbid. The members of the band joined together with the common determination to spread their message through universal love and enlightenment. Poeta draws inspiration for their elegant rock sound from groups such as Saosin, Coheed and Cambria, My Chemical Romance, and City and Colour.
Vocalist/guitarist Kevin Torres has an impressive range and brings strength and power to the band’s songs. Backed by Anthony Dentino on guitar, Sean Shewan on bass, and George Powell taking percussion duties, Poeta is a band that blurs the lines between genres.
Poeta’s debut release, “Golden Fields” was recorded at Overlook Studios in Warminster, PA and was produced by Bruce Wiegner (Victory in Numbers, Rivers Monroe).
