POP DARLINGS VERRE RELEASE “TASTE THE SKY”

THE SECOND INSTALLMENT OF “FRAMES SERIES”

“It’s catchy and upbeat, but there’s a bittersweet undertone that gives it more depth than your typical pop hit.” – Pigeons & Planes

Verre, the seductive quintet from Southern California, continues to surprise fans with its uniquely satisfying brand of decadent pop.

Today, the band is releasing the second installment of its “Frames” series exclusively via Pigeons and Planes. The “Frames” series aims to pair three of the band’s songs with stunning artwork, resulting in a one-of-a-kind framing concept. This time, Verre has chosen the song “Taste the Sky” which you can listen to here and watch the visualette below.

Comprised of Alice (vocals), Brandon (drums + piano), Chris (guitar), Kristina (bass) and Mike (guitar), Verre has generated a significant amount of buzz over its last release, “BLU.”  “It’s possibly the most exciting thing we’ve heard this year,” declared Going Solo in 2014. FourNames even remixed “BLU,” giving the song pulsating beats and even more ethereal vocals.  Says Indie Shuffle of the remix, “clocking in at just over 5 minutes, the song perfectly highlights the South California-based Verre’s vocal and instrumental prowess.”

“It’s time to get the Los Angeles-based pop group, Verre, on your radar,” declared Hillydilly, “because their second-ever released track, “BLU” might just be one of your favorite new songs.”

Listen to “BLU” here.  Check out the visualette here.

“Imagine Sia, Vanessa Paradis, Goldfrapp, Brazilian Girls and Lana Del Rey rolled into one sensual musical delicacy. Now that’s what I call a spicy meatball.”

– Pop Dose
“Verre forgo the traditional video with Frames, a series of visualettes that match their music with movingartwork. The Southern California group’s first clip highlights their beautiful, haunting, The Night VI-esque single.”
