Surrey born pop punk quartet SHADED revealed their new single ‘Better With You’ earlier this week with Punktastic. The single is taken from the bands forthcoming EP release ‘The Better Man In Me’, due for release on the 1st September 2017.
The song title and it’s lyrics both revolve around and portray the idea of missing a relationship, whether it be intimate or a friendship, and the feeling of regret that comes with that. You can listen to it now here below..
SHADED are something slightly different to your run of the mill pop punk. Think of the guitar riffs and vocal melodies of a State Champs track, throw in some WSTR style drums and the pop vibes of a 5 Seconds Of Summer single, and you’ve got yourself the new SHADED EP in a nutshell.
“If, somehow, even just a few people can relate to and connect with our music, we’ll be over the moon.” explains vocalist Matt East. “If you like emotive pop punk with catchy melodies and hooks, supported by hard-hitting riffs and big chorus’, you’ll probably find us in your little sister’s playlist.”
