Fresh off the re-release of the vinyl of The Expanders’ self-titled album, we are excited to launch the pre-order for the vinyl release of the long-lost
MERCILESS DUB: THE EXPANDERS DUBWISE AT J’S. This is the long-lost DUB ALBUM from The Expanders, mixed by J Bonner in 2010, but never released until now. It’s now been mastered anew and pressed on 180 gram black vinyl. It features 6 dub versions of some of the band’s most murderous rhythms from their debut album, along with EXTENDED DISCO MIXES of two of their most popular songs. A remarkable mixture of echo, reverb, smoke, and resourcefulness, MERCILESS DUBlives on the edge of danger and adventure. This one’s a real DUBWISE SITUATION!
Meanwhile, on the same release date (June 12), we will be releasing an EXPANDED EDITION of THE EXPANDERS album, which will include the original album sequence, all of the dub versions, as well as an unreleased track from the sessions. This is where the “Merciless Dub” version is from, which we are also making available here for you to download and play wherever you fancy.
