‘Theirs is a raw indie-rock sound that recalls the excitement of early Arctic Monkeys” Evening Standard
Hotly tipped young four-piece Pretty Vicious return with new single ‘National Plastics’. Premiered last night by Annie Mac as her Hottest Record on BBC Radio 1, the single will be released September 18th on Virgin EMI.

Appearing suddenly and without any introduction in late 2014, the brilliantly young four piece from the small town of Merthyr Tydfil in Wales, fronted by 18 year old Brad Griffiths, sent music radars spinning with their first track ‘Cave Song’. A headline show at the BBC Introducing Stage at Glastonbury as well as their own UK tour followed in 2015 including two sold out shows at the London Barfly, an impressive feat for a band who has only released three tracks to date, including the recent sold out Record Store Day 7” single ‘It’s Always There’.
New single ‘National Plastics’ sees the band continuing to raise the bar with another tour de force of incendiary, visceral and youthful guitar rock, further testament to their growing reputation as one of the UK’s most compelling new acts.
September will see Pretty Vicious embarking on a fresh set of UK headline tour dates as well as playing festival slots at Reading, Leeds and Jersey Live festival.
